ABOUT
After moving to the beautiful village of Rhydcymerau just 6 months ago, we were blown away by the beautiful scenery and forests of the Brechfa forest and mountain. Being keen mountain bikers and explorers we are so lucky to have it all on our doorstep. When Glascoed came up for sale in the next village we jumped at the opportunity to be able to offer everybody else a place to stay in this gorgeous area.
Glascoed is a lovely and cozy little 1 bedroom terraced property ( can sleep up to 2 people (at the moment) - a travel cot can be provided too) in the quaint little village of Llansawel. Offering a modern kitchen/diner, two log burners, a large garden and barbecue and WIFI, it is the perfect couples or singles retreat for the perfect country getaway. Of course, sometimes you need to bring your most faithful friend with you, so dogs are very welcome to stay too. There is a lovely church, a small park, and two pubs just a few steps away.

Free WiFi is available. The password will be provided to you at Glascoed.

Glascoed offers a beatiful large fenced garden with a BBQ available for use
Bike Storage

A bike shed is provided at Glascoed. A padlock is provided with keys.
Bath and Shower
​
A lovely large bath a separate shower are available for you to use
Log Burner
​
Nothing beats a lovely warm and cozy log burner for those chillier evening. Glascoed has two which are both fully functioning
Street Parking
​
There is on street parking available at Glascoed. Alternatively there is private parking available at the village hall just a few steps down the street.

Biking in Brechfa

Explore the Coast

There are beautiful beaches 50mins away North West of Llansawel including Newquay and Aberaeron and down south to Pendine and Amroth
Shopping
If you fancy a day of retail therapy then be sure to visit the historical town of Llandeilo just 20minutes away or even Carmarthen if your willing to travel a little further.
Walking in Brechfa

There are endless footpaths to explore in Brechfa and plenty for dogs to investigate too! Beautiful picnic sites and maps are located all around.
